REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 
 
I refer to your online email received on the 4 July 2016 in which you request – 
Could you please provide me with copies of all the job sheets and note book 
entries from all the police who had any part in the Wills search including the 
operational review and inquest.   
 
Police act on behalf of the Coroner in carrying out investigations into a sudden 
death.  The  information  you have requested forms part of a closed  Coroners 
case. While Police may hold copies of information about the death of Ms Wills, 
any information obtained by Police was obtained for the purpose of the 
Coroner’s investigation into Ms Wills  death and therefore any request for 
information from Coroner’s file must be considered by Coronial Services at the 
Ministry of Justice. 
 
Any request for access to information held on the Coroner’s file regarding the 
death of Ms Wills will need to be made to:
