Ref: DOIA 1617-0133
Dear Dr RC Dahiya and Parveen
Thank you for your email of 1 August 2016 requesting under the Official Information Act 1982, the
following information:
We beg to state that the Subsequent/Second Resident Visas were given to us in 2012 by Immigration
New Zealand, Delhi when we had applied for Permanent Resident Visas after completing the
mandatory stay of 184 days two times in the two consecutive years. We were not given the
mandatory, statutorily required explanatory letter having the details of these visas and other related
information. This is the sole reason that ultimately led to the cancellation of our Resident Visas.
We wish to have a VERY DETAILED, SPECIFIC and RELEVANT reply from INZ, Delhi as to WHY WE
WERE NOT SUPPLIED the mandatory, statutorily required explanatory letter having the details of
these visas and other related information.
Kindly help us in seeking this information.
Your request is being processed in accordance with the Official Information Act 1982. If you have any
enquiries regarding your request, you may contact us via email at [MBIE request email] or
