I refer to your request which we received on 28 October 2016, about Auckland Fringe Trust 
grant applications to Auckland Council. I also refer to my email to you on 6 July confirming to 
provide you the application forms to satisfy your request. Thank you for your patience while 
we have worked on this response. 
Please find attached applications forms together with their supporting documents for the 
following Auckland Fringe Trust grant applications since 2014: 
1.  Arts Alive application  
2.  Creative Communities Scheme application  
3.  Interim Regional Community Fund application  
4.  Regional Arts and Culture application

Please note that some names and contact details of council staff and members of the public 
and some salary/wages information have been redacted to protect their privacy. This 
information is withheld under section 7(2)(a) of the Local Government Official Information 
And Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA). 
The following information was provided by the Auckland Fringe Trust through their 
applications:  
•  Auckland Fringe Strategic SWOT analysis;  
•  Detailed Income and expenditure budget; and  
•  Auckland Fringe 2015 Business and Marketing Plan. 
This information was provided to Council solely for their grant application assessment 
purpose. Therefore, this information is being withheld under section 7(2)(c)(i) of LGOIMA, 
where withholding is necessary to protect information which is subject to an obligation of 
confidence, where making this information available would be likely to prejudice the supply

of similar information, and it is in the public interest that such information should continue to 
be supplied. 
Please note that some proposed fees and costs information is also redacted under section 
7(2)(b)(ii) of LGOIMA, in order to prevent unreasonable prejudice to the commercial 
positions of Alt Group and Elephant Publicity.
