Brokenwood Mysteries location permits
I refer to your email, which we received on 9 November 2016, concerning location permits
for filming of
The Brokenwood Mysteries.
Screen Auckland, a department of Auckland Tourism, Events, and Economic Development
(ATEED), issues film permits on behalf of Auckland Council for filming in public open
spaces. The term “public open spaces” includes, but is not restricted to, parks, reserves,
beaches, roads, footpaths, and berms. Crews filming on private property are not required to
obtain a film permit unless some part of their activity does not comply with Unitary Plan or
District Plan rules.
Please find below a list of locations where permits for filming of
The Brokenwood Mysteries have been issued, the first in April 2014:
