Thank you for contacting Auckland Transport on 31 January 2017 requesting CCTV footage for a hit 
and run while your car was parked at 156 Williamson Ave from 7.30am to 8.13am, on 28 January 2017.   
 
Auckland Transport does not supply CCTV footage directly to members of the public due to reasons of 
privacy.  However, where footage of a specific incident or alleged crime is available, Auckland Transport 
provides footage to New Zealand Police upon receipt of a request from them.  
Notwithstanding the above, Auckland Transport confirms that other than the temporary placement of a 
CCTV  camera  for  the  Guns  N  Roses  concert,  there  is  generally  no  CCTV  camera  in  the  area  and 
footage would not have been captured.  Your request is therefore refused under section 17(e) of the 
Act as the footage requested does not exist. 
Should  you  believe  that  we  have  not responded  appropriately  to  your  request,  you  have  the  right in 
accordance  with  section  27(3)  of  the  Local  Government  Official  Information  and  Meetings  Act  1987 
(LGOIMA) to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsmen to seek an investigation and review of 
the decision
