Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your request of 24 February 2017 requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982,
the following information:
“Australian Research Council/ICT team about RMS - What was the purpose of this
trip?
a) What was the purpose of this trip
b) Why was its necessary for 3 people to travel - Manager Grants and Investments,
Sector Manager, Senior Project Manager
c) What were the dates of travel
d) Can you provide itemised receipts for all expenses
e) Can you provide date and times for all meetings Can you provide an agenda and
minutes for all meetings
f) How did these meeting further MBIE strategic objectives.
g) What information was obtained that could not be source from the ARC website
and the RMS Manual
h) Where (sic) these people employees, consultants or contractors. If consultants or
contractors what was the hourly rate paid and the total payment for this trip
(excluding travel, Accommodation and other costs).
I am writing to advise you that the Ministry will provide a response but needs to extend the time
available to answer your request. The Ministry’s response will be with you no later than 7 April 2017.
The reason for the extension is that consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are
such that a proper response to the request cannot be made within the original time limit.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of our decision to extend the time limit by the
