Official Information Act Request – Financial value of efficiencies and FTE vacancies
I refer to your Official Information Act (OIA) request of 18 May 2017 for provision of certain
information by Auckland District Health Board (Auckland DHB).
The statutory time limit for Auckland DHB to reply to that request was 16 June 2017. This letter is a
notice pursuant to s15A that Auckland DHB wil need to extend that time limit to 30 June 2017, being
a reasonable period of additional time to comply with your request because consultation is necessary
to respond to and make the decision on your request, such that a proper response to the request
cannot be made within the original time limit.
You have a right by way of a complaint to the Ombudsman under s28(3) of the OIA to seek an
investigation and review of this decision.
