I  am  writing  to  acknowledge  receipt  of  your  Official  Information  Act  request  dated  15  June  2017 
requesting the following information from the Canterbury DHB. 
 
1.   Total number of medical oncology first specialist assessments seen calendar year 2015 and total 
number of medical oncology first specialist assessments seen calendar year 2016. 
 
2.  Total medical oncology full time equivalent staff posts (including filled and vacant) at senior 
medical officer (SMO) level on 01 Jan 2015.  Total  medical oncology full time equivalent staff posts 
(including filled and vacant) at senior medical officer (SMO)  level on 01 Jan 2016 
 
3.  Total medical oncology full time equivalent staff posts (including filled and vacant) at registrar 
level on 01 Jan 2015.  Total  medical oncology full time equivalent staff posts (including filled and 
vacant) at registrar level on 01 Jan 2016.
