  Do you have a surgeon who is capable of performing gender reassignment surgeries (i.e. genital 
reconstruction)? 
 
No, Canterbury DHB does not have a surgeon who is capable of performing gender reassignment 
surgeries. 
 
  If not - are you in the process of recruiting a surgeon with such capabilities or considering the 
recruitment of such a surgeon? 
 
Canterbury DHB is not in the process of recruiting a surgeon with such capabilities and is not considering 
the recruitment of such a surgeon.
