Thank you for your email of 11 April 2018 requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
Are you able to please provide CCTV footage of Intersection SH1 and Hudson Rd Warkworth on 
1.04.2018 between 7.15pm and 7.25pm regarding a car accident 
 
The NZ Transport Agency’s CCTV system is designed to overwrite existing footage every three to seven 
days, depending on location. As the Transport Agency received your request more than seven days 
after the date of the incident, the relevant footage has not been retained. Your request has therefore 
been refused under section 18(e) of the Act as the information requested does not exist. 
 
Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision to refuse
