I am writing to you in response to your request dated 21 August 2018. Your request was 
made pursuant to the Official Information Act 1982 and requested:

Has there been another change in how MSSA with folding stocks are measured? 
• 
Is a fixed muzzle device still included? 
On 5 September 2018, I responded to your request for information dated 21 August 2018. 
In that letter I referenced section 18(d) – that the requested information is or soon will be 
publicly available.  
I am now writing to clarify that the information is already publicly available and can be 
found on the Police website1. This information has been available on the Police website 
since 7 March 2017. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this 
decision.  
For your information, Police has developed a process for proactive release of information, 
so the response to your request may be publicly released on the New Zealand Police 
website.
