Request for information 2018-232
I refer to your request for information dated 7 September 2018, which was received by Greater
Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) on 7 September 2018. You have requested the following
information:
“
I'm interested in knowing roughly how much was spent during the planning and execution of the
recent bus changes and on what.
I expect this to include costs relating to the consultations, any hired experts, any research and
validating that was done, and advertising.”
On 18 September 2018, Margaret Meek, Business Advisor, Public Transport, emailed you to request
that you clarify (or amend) your request, so that GWRC would be able to identify the information
within the scope of your request. To date, we have not heard from you with clarification, or
amendment, of your original request.
GWRC’s decision follows:
Section 10(2) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 states that “the
official information requested shall be specified with due particularity in the request”.
As your request currently stands, we do not consider that you have specified the information that
you request with due particularity.
