I think the Napier Concrete Pump track is the way to go. It's a smoother surface than asphalt and

Concrete bike track, grass with tables for picnics, smal playgroup with equipment for children.

Keep it as a BMX pump track, but make it like the Raglan asphalt track so that it lasts a long time

A toilet in the new community space is real y needed now given it is a destination place for many

and there are no public toilets for the whole of Marfel , severely limiting the holding of public
events there and in the park below.

Community area, and other sports should be catered for here too: basketbal , basebal /softbal ,

footbal (in its increasing popularity - check out some of the Fusbal court styles from Brazil, they're
smal and encourage high skil and footwork, as wel as team work). A smal skate park (like oakura
or okato) would be good here too, to cater for al the suburbs on this side of town.

Drain the field properly so it is useable. I'd love to have picnics and bring our son down there, but

you sink in about 10cm into a bog like muck. It's real y disappointing because it's so beautiful down
there and just a walk from our home. A sports field, and a public toilet are a must to attract others
to use the space.
