Official Information Act 1982 Request – OIA1819-0364
I refer to your email dated 29 November 2018 requesting, under the Official
Information Act 1982 (“the Act”), the following information:
•
Copy of al correspondence from Charity services to the trustees of the animal
welfare institute of New Zealand in the years 2017 and 2018.
A list of the documents being released is included in Appendix 1 attached below.
Please note that we have not included any documents within scope of this request
which have previously been provided to you in relation to your OIA request dated 17
July 2018. We have however indicated to you what these documents are in Appendix
2 attached below.
As per the Appendix 1, certain information has been withheld under the fol owing
sections of the Act:
•
Section 9(2)(a) of the Act. The Department considers that this information
should be withheld to protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of
deceased natural persons.
•
Section 9(2)(h) of the Act. The Department considers that this information
should be withheld to maintain legal professional privilege.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of my decisions about your
request by the Ombudsman pursuant to section 28(1) of the Act. The Office of the
