We refer to your request for official information dated 30 May 2019 regarding Auckland Transport's 
Centre City Future Access Study 2 (CCFAS2) project.   
 
You requested: 
 
a) The CCFAS2 project CAPEX cost estimate for light rail 
b) The CCFAS2 project OPEX cost estimate for the bus alternative 
c) The CCFAS2 project OPEX estimate for light rail 
 
Please find attached two documents; 
 
1.  LRT-SYS-FIN-AT-RPT-000323 – Peer Review of Draft CAPEX.PDF  
2.  z. Operational costing of LRT-Bus options 4, 6, 8 and 9 21.11.2014.pdf.   
 
These documents contain the CCFAS2 capex and opex assessments for bus and light rail options. 
 
You also requested AT to provide the spreadsheet "CAP BRT cost review appendix 2 cost estimate 
breakdown.xlsx" and equivalent spreadsheets in original electronic format.  We have searched for 
these original documents and cannot find these spreadsheets in Excel format, therefore the material 
is only available in PDF as provided to you. 
 
We trust the above information has addressed the matters raised however, should you believe that we 
have not responded appropriately to your request, you have the right in accordance with section 27(3) 
of the LGOIMA to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman to seek an investigation and review 
in regard to this matter.
