Re: 48 Greys Avenue, Auckland CBD
I refer to your email, which we received on 25 March 2019, requesting information about 48
Greys Avenue, Auckland CBD.
Further to my emails to you on 29 March and 02 April, we are unable to grant your request in
its current form because the information requested wil require substantial collation and
research.
We asked if you would please provide the following information to help assist us in finding
information for your query;

A timeframe for the requested correspondence
•
Particular departments / staff who may have been involved;
•
Any keywords that would help us in our efforts to conduct an IT search of staff
members email addresses (e.g. Building/Resource Consent numbers or any other
keywords that are applicable with what information you are trying to find).
As you have not specified your request with due particularity under the Local Government
Official Information Act, we are unable to progress your request and as such, your request
has been closed.
However, in order to be helpful, our Compliance department have provided the below
information for the Licensing & Compliance department only. Please note that this does not
consider any Building Consents/Resource Consents information.
Since 01 January 2017 there has been a total of three incidents reported at 48 Greys
Avenue. For the first two incidents there is no correspondence between Council and any of
the nominated parties.
Information pertaining to the third incident is subject to an open and ongoing investigation
and therefore cannot be released in accordance with Section 6(a) of the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987,
and any release of any information may
prejudice the maintenance of the law, including prevention, investigation and detection of
offences and the right to a fair trial.
Should you believe Auckland Council has not responded appropriately to your request, you
have the right by way of complaint, under section 27(3) of the LGOIMA, to apply to the
Ombudsman to seek an investigation and review of the decision.
