The New Zealand Herald supports the hosting of FYI.org.nz

What relationship does FYI.org.nz have with the New Zealand Herald?#

The New Zealand Herald is providing production hosting of the FYI.org.nz website. The Herald has offered this support because it believes that the Official Information Act is an important institution and that this website is a valuable public service.
FYI.org.nz is otherwise maintained completely by volunteers independent of The New Zealand Herald. The Herald will never interfere in the operation and administration of the site or any OIA Requests made through the site, nor does the Herald prevent anyone from using FYI.org.nz or access non-public information about its users.

Can I help out? #

Yes please! We're built out of our supporters and volunteers.

Make a recurring or one-off donation. Your donation will help us improve and expand the service, introduce additional tools and infrastructure to support a wider volunteer base, and build the long-term sustainability of FYI.org.nz.
Through our charity fundholder Gift Collective your donation will be tax-deductible and held by registered charity The Gift Trust (CC40774) on our behalf. Donations will only be used only for FYI.org.nz charitable purposes, with full transparency of how every dollar is spent.
