B Cat instructors are not eligible to become a GA flight examiner, only
those who hold an A Cat instructor rating can apply to be an GA examiner
under the current rules can fill.  There are 2 or 3 B Cat instructors who
do exercise GA examiner privileges, but this is as a result of
‘grandfather’ rights when the rules were changed over 20 years ago.  B
Cats may hold an airline flight examiner rating assuming they have the
requisite commercial experience.  Details can be found in AC 61-19 here:

As explained in my previous email, a B Cat can hold an Airline Examiner rating and they can do OCAs and FCCCs.
