Dear Department of Conservation,
In an OIA response published on fyi.org.nz dated 1 Oct 2019 to Tim Benseman you advised:
"a search of our website on the term ‘possum’ provides several examples of photos of possums preying on native birds and eggs, from both internal and external sources."
You also provided assurances that these photos were not "staged".
Please provide the follow information:
a) a copy of each of the photos you refer to in your reply;
b) the date each of these photos were taken,
c) where each of these photos was taken and any other available infromation about the circumstances in which they were taken
d) information to show any payment or other consideration provided for each of these photos
e) the source of each of the photos you refer to, including whether they were taken by DoC staff, or by a third party and if so, whether the third party is @Nga Manu Images and/or purangikiwi.co.nz;
Please can you provide the same information re the photo of a stoat (which looks like a stuffed stoat) aimed towards the camera with a bird in its mouth that is frequently use by DoC, and lease confirm if a live or stuffed stoat is used in that photo.
