Dear Penny Hazlett,
Many thanks for your email. I was on sick leave hence couldn't replied. It seems a slight confusion on my request. Let me clarify those.
I had applied a residency visa through SMC program from offshore where the file has been successfully lodged on 23/05/2009, as it states in NZ immigration operational manual /website for a case officer allocation takes 6 months time, seems no progress on that could lead me an actual status query mail about file movement.
My SMC details are as below
Application number: 18616159
Client number: 70549708
Awaiting your kind reply in this regard.
Yours sincerely,
Rathish Mathew

Mr Rathish
The OIA process is not one to follow up on your application. Unfortunately, I cannot assist with this.
Through processing OIA requests I am aware that there is a very large number of SMC applications in queue waiting to be processed and this will be affecting the allocation times. I note that you have previously followed up you application via email and this is the process you need to follow.

Dear Penny Hazlett,
Thanks for your email. I understood from the context of email that a personal status cannot be assisted. However can I get the status of SMC application case officer allocation status of MAY lodged files.
I am more concerned with timelines set for the application review and approval which has no clarity so far on the logical closure aspect.
Yours sincerely,
Rathish Mathew
