Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA):
Request for information

 

I refer to your LGOIMA request which was received on 10 December 2019. 

 

As you might be aware, LGOIMA applies to all requests for information that
we receive.  We are able to respond immediately to some requests, but in
instances where we need to collate information we do so and respond in
accordance with our specified process.

 

Under LGOIMA, Environment Canterbury has 20 working days to respond to
your request.  Your request has been passed to the person(s) responsible
for responding and you will be contacted as soon as possible but no later
than 29 January 2020*.

 

Please be advised that we put LGOIMA responses that are in the public
interest onto our website. No personal details of the requester are given,
but we do summarise the essence of the request alongside the response.

 

 

* Please be aware that the timeframes for calculating the due date for
responses to requests under the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act exclude the period from 20 December 2019 to 10 January 2020. 
This will extend the due date for any response to you, but we will respond
as soon as we can.

Thank you for your request, which was transferred by ECan to the
Christchurch City Council on December 19 2019. You asked for the following
information:

 

I would like to request statistics that you may or may not hold on
passenger travel in the following format for the last calendar year (or
most recent readily available statistics):

 

- If readily available, the total number of passenger boardings at each
given stop.

- If readily available, passenger boardings at each given stop broken down
by route.

- If readily available, the above statistics on each given day in the last
calendar year.

 

- If readily available, information showing which stops have seats,
shelters, bus arrival boards, and trash cans (or other amenities).

 

I am happy to accept this information in any format you have, e.g. excel
spreadsheet, MySQL database etc.
