Thank you for your below email requesting information from Kāinga Ora
(formerly Housing New Zealand) under the Official Information Act 1982
(the Act).

 

You can expect to be notified of the decision on your request by 25 March
2020, being 20 working days after the day on which the request was
received in accordance with section 15(1) of the Act. If an extension of
time is required to make a decision you will be notified prior to this
date in accordance with section 15A of the Act

 

I would appreciate if you could clarify what you mean by the highlighted
sections of your request below. Do you mean the total number of
consents/completed houses at the date we respond to you with the
information?  If so, please note that Kāinga Ora reports at month end and
information provided would be as at 31 January 2020, or up to the date
that the OIA request was made.  Information would generally not be current
as at the exact date sent to a requester due to administrative turn-around
times between the receipt of the information from the business, drafting a
response and quality assurance processes.

 

If you mean something else, please advise.

 

1. Total number of houses that have received territorial consents
(resource and building consent  as at the date of supplying the
information as a direct consequence of Kainga Ora's actions and/or
intervention)

 

2. Total number of houses that have been completed as at date of supplying
the information as a direct consequence of Kainga Ora's actions and /or
intervention.
