Re: Official Information Act Request for AFB and ApiNZ Board Minutes and Tabled Reports 
 
ApiNZ and the Management Agency has decided to grant your request for the fol owing: 
 
•  AFB Board meeting minutes from June 2019 to March 2020 – please note that the minutes 
of the April 2020 meeting have yet to be approved by the Board and hence are not available. 
•  AFB Pest Management Agency Governance reports to ApiNZ Board from June 2019 to April 
2020 
•  Apiculture NZ Board meeting minutes and relevant reports relating to the AFB PMP from 
June 2019 to April 2020 
It is expected to take at least six hours to col ate documents requested and redact the fol owing 
information from these documents as is al owed by section 9 of the Official Information Act 1982: 
•  To protect the privacy of natural persons 
 
We will charge $38+gst per half hour of staff time in excess of the first hour to col ate and redact the 
requested information and request you to pay a deposit of $200+gst. There may be further charges 
if the preparation of the OIA response takes longer than six hours, and part of the deposit will be 
refunded if preparation of the OIA response take less than six hours. 
 
Please confirm that you are prepared to pay for the OIA response requested and Apiculture New 
Zealand will send you an invoice. The Apiculture New Zealand and the Management Agency wil  
prepare the OIA response after payment has been received. 
 
You have the right to appeal the charges to the Ombudsman.
