The Office of the Ombudsman has been in touch regarding your complaint to them about the decision of Apiculture NZ (ApiNZ) to charge for information in response to your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request.

After the discussion, I can advise that you are able to access the AFB Pest Management Board summary minutes which can be found at the AFB Pest Management's website at https://afb.org.nz/board-meeting-summary.... Please note it does not include the April 2020 minutes summary but we expect that these will be available early July. Could you could please review these and advise if you require further information and specifically from what reports.

Regarding the ApiNZ Board minutes relating to AFB Board matters we will review these and come back to you with relevant information that may include redactions for privacy reasons. As we are a small office with limited resources, this may take us some time.
