Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
I applied for my husband residence visa on the 10th of January 2020.
Is this on the priority or non-priority queue?
How many residence visas will be approved?
About how long more will take my residence visa to be assess?
How are the queues doing?
Yours faithfully,
Liz

Clarification of question 2 and 4
- Please clarify your question 2 – how many residence visas will be
approved? - I’m not sure what you want to know, which type of resident
visa applications are you referring to? Is it Skilled Migrant Category? Is
it partnership category? Or something else? What do you mean by ‘will be
approved?’
- Please clarify question 4 – how are the queues doing? – do you
want to know how many applications are still in the queues or something
else?
Transferring question 1 and 3 to Privacy Team
Question 1 – is this on the priority queue or non-priority queue
Question 3 – how long more will take my residence visa to be assesse?
We have transferred these questions to the Privacy Team at Immigration New
Zealand because it appears that these questions are about personal
information therefore they falls under Privacy Act 1993, rather than
Official Information Act 1982. Transfer is made in accordance with section
14(b)(i) and (ii) of the Official Information Act 1982 and section
39(b)(i) and (ii) of the Privacy Act 1993.
