Could we please be made aware of the costs involved to the taxpayer in regards to xmas parties this year? Wether this be directly funding parties or allowing staff paid time off.

What delay are you referring to? The days from 25 December to 15 January are not considered working days under the Official Information Act. Though you should receive a response as soon as reasonably practicable, your request's legal due date is still 10 working days away.
