Dear Sandy,
On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
acknowledge your email of 7^th January 2021 requesting under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:
Can I please request an updated organization chart of INZ Beijing office.
It will be appreciated if personnel names are provided
Please note that the days from 24 December 2020 to 17 January 2021
(inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not
counted in the calculation for the response due date. This will affect the
time period for responding to your request.
Your request is being processed in accordance with the Act and a response
will be sent to you in due course.
Please note, due to ongoing COVID-19 response work, requests are currently
being triaged and those relating to Covid-19 processed as a priority.
Remaining requests are being assessed as per the Ombudsman’s guidance

Dear Sandy,
Thank you for your email of 7 January 2021 requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the OIA), the following information:
"Can I please request an updated organization chart of INZ Beijing office. It will be appreciated if personnel names are provided."
Under Section 12 of The OIA, requests can only be made by:
(a) a New Zealand citizen; or
(b) a permanent resident of New Zealand; or
(c) a person who is in New Zealand; or
(d) a body corporate which is incorporated in New Zealand; or
(e) a body corporate which is incorporated outside of new Zealand but which has a place of business in New Zealand,
From the limited information you have provided in your request, it is unclear that you are eligible to make an OIA request.
Before we can proceed with your request, you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to make a request. Proof of eligibility can be provided confidentially to me via email (my email address is in the attached document).
