Thank you for your Official Information Act request of 23 February 2021,
your request was for:

“any advice and reports you have received concerning the possibility of
undetected community transmission of Covid-19 in New Zealand since
February 2020."

This Office holds a large volume of advice and reporting relating to
COVID-19, and this reporting will in part relate to the risk of possible
community transmission. As such, I believe it would require a significant
amount of time on to research and collate material relevant to your
request.

I am emailing at this stage to see if you would be willing to refine your
request, perhaps by specifying search terms that would reduce the volume
of information we would need to search through, identifying the source of
the reports/advice you are interest in, or by a narrow timeframe for which
documents may be received?

If you are going to refine your request, please get back to us by
Wednesday 10 March 2021 . If we have not heard from you by this date, we
will consider your request as it is currently framed, and it is likely to
be declined under section 18(f) of the Official Information Act 1982. You
can contact us by return email to: [1][email address].
