Information both incoming and outgoing about mask usage on public transport
Gavin Millar made this Official Information request to Canterbury Regional Council
The request was successful.
From: Gavin Millar
Dear Canterbury Regional Council,
I have become increasingly disappointed and concerned about the low level of mask usage among both passengers and drivers (!) on bus routes operated by Environment Canterbury.
I am looking for what information has been provided to you by the Ministry of Health and similar as well as information and advice provided by you to companies operating bus routes relating to the use of masks on public transport.
Can you please provide:
All correspondence between Environment Canterbury and the Ministry of Health regarding the use of masks on public transport since the start of February 2021. This would include both information provided by MoH as well as responses or questions from Environment Canterbury. This could include emails as well as meeting minutes or summaries.
All correspondence between Environment Canterbury, bus route operators and/or driver unions regarding the use of masks on public transport since the start of February 2021. This would include any guidance provided by ECan to those companies, any queries or responses received and other adhoc correspondence. This could include emails as well as meeting minutes or summaries.
How many complaints have you received since the start of February 2021 about mask usage (or lack thereof) on public transport? Can you please categorize these based on what aspect of masks they refer to.
Yours faithfully,
Gavin

Dear Lillian Sewell,
As we have previously discussed I'm unable to retrieve the data from your Sharepoint system using either my personal email address or the link provided in the FYI email.
If this data cannot be sent as email attachments then I would suggest making use of some form of hosting that doesn't require a login to provide access to it.
Yours sincerely,
Gavin Millar
