Department of Internal Affairs
Hi Anna,
Your request is not currently made with due particularity. In order to be
able to answer it, we require further information regarding what it is in
relation to.
The Department has over 2000 employees and receives a very high volume of
correspondence annually. It has not been possible for us to readily
identify anyone in the organisation that is aware of correspondence with
the hospital you mention. Therefore please provide some further
information so that we can identify the function this relates to. If no
further information is provided, it is very likely that your request will
be refused under section 18(e) of the Act, on the basis that the requested
information does not exist or cannot be found.
Note – if you have since realised that you meant to make your request to
the Ministry of Health ([1][email address]), please let us know so
that your request can be transferred to the Ministry of Health or
withdrawn.

Dear Michelle Reed (She/Her),
Thank you for your correspondence related to the "lack of particularity" of my complaint.
Specifically, my inquiry related to any complaint-related correspondence between the DIA and Braemar Hospital ("100 owned by the Braemar Charitable trust") and its agents and representatives. Complaints to the DIA regarding the charitable status of the Braemar Charitable trust should also be included. Incase that is not sufficiently particular, the DIA could specifically confine itself to complaints made, in the year 2020, by the complainant, to the DIA, about any/all of the 3 Braemar entities listed with the DIA.
Kind Regards,
Anna Goodwin
