We would like to advise that completing a response to your request for two
years of Board Minutes will require a long extension of time.

This is because Board Minutes will usually contain material that is
sensitive and therefore requires careful consideration to ensure we make
an appropriate decision under the Official Information Act 1982. This
generally involves an initial review of the documents by Board staff and
then seeking comment and views in relation to individual items within the
Minutes.

Considering the number of Minutes (28), we would expect the review and
consultation process for your request to take many weeks from now.

Reducing the need for an extension of time
To lessen the amount of time we need to extend our response by, we are
inviting you to reduce the scope of your request – for example to the last
12 months. Alternatively, you could amend your request to seek Board
Minute items relating to any particular subject matter that you are
interested in.  

If you are happy to amend your request to either of the above suggestions,
or in any other way, could you please let me know by 5pm Thursday, 27 May?
 If we do not hear from you we will assume you want to keep your request
as it is, and we will apply an extension period accordingly.

board minutes since 2 May 2021 (the date of your original request,
