No. of EOI selection from Jan 2019 upto March 2021
Satish made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment
The request was successful.
From: Satish
Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
Could you please help me understand below:
1. No. of EOI Selected from the Pool from Jan 2019 up to March 2021.
2. No of ITA issued to all the successful selection from the Pool
3. out of all the ITA issued from Jan 2019 up to March 2021, how many people have actually applied under SMC (e.g. say 100 ITAs were issued but only 80 people proceeded and applied under SMC).
I confirm I am living in NZ since April 2018 and eligible to make such requests.
Yours faithfully,
Satish

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
I would like to update the questions which are listed below.
1. No. of EOI selected and the number of people it represents from the Pool from Jan 2019 up to March 2020.
2. No of ITA issued (and the number of people it represented) to all the successful selection from the Pool.
3. Out of all the ITA issued from Jan 2019 up to March 2020, how many people (not an application, the number of people) have actually applied under SMC (e.g. say 100 ITAs were issued representing 200 people but only 80 Applications come through representing 160 applications under SMC).
4. What sort of measure/communication INZ has sent to MOI or discussed within/with INZ officials to address the issue that more people are eligible to apply and had been issued ITA's but the NZRP had fewer slots for approval, release all the email related to this matter or any sort of communication discussing this issue OIA 1982.
5. Why did INZ invite more people (not the applications) when they were aware they don't have the NZRP numbers aligning with their ITA numbers (no. of people, not the applications).
6. Please explain why INZ blame applicants & demand that the number of applications had been rising when they didn't take any measure to control the influx of applications coming in (and kept the point 160 knowing they will run in a mess especially after introducing the so-called informal priority queue).
Yours faithfully,
Satish
