Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

Kia ora.
Please quantify the amount (barrels) of oil ( petroleum product) New Zealand is currently ( May 2021 ) consuming ( quantity over period of time i.e. day/month/year )
AND the total NZ$ value for the total unrefined (imported and locally produced ) oil
AND the NZ$ retail value of the total amount of refined products - especially petroleum / diesel that fuel our transport fleet - that are consumed domestically.

N.B. There is a wide discrepancy between figures available on the internet depending on the sources and a definitive quantification of our energy consumption and its associated costs does not appear to be available on any New Zealand Government websites.
