“Is the Immigration Profiling Branch (IPB) and Specialist Assessment Team
(SAT) one and the same?

2: If that's the case, my application was sent to IPB when I applied for a
PhD student visa back in 2016; now in 2021, my case has been diverted to
the SAT team with relation to my SMC residence visa. Is this the normal
process?”
