Usage of vaccine stock statistics
Felix Lee made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
The request was successful.
From: Felix Lee
Dear Ministry of Health,
On your statistics page[1], it says the usage of vaccine stock is 99.5%. It specifies it measures "how many vaccines distributed to sites are administered to individuals" and it is "subject to a number of assumptions".
Can I make an OIA request as follows:
1. What percentage of COVID vaccines arriving in NZ end up being distributed to sites?
2. The methodology you use to calculate the 99.5% statistic and the assumptions that are made.
I reside in NZ and is eligible to make requests.
Thank you for your attention.
Yours faithfully,
Felix Lee
