Liz Simons made this Official Information request to Television New Zealand Limited
Television New Zealand Limited did not have the information requested.
From: Liz Simons
Dear Television New Zealand Limited,
TVNZ seem to be involved in the social constructivism of try to without democracy and a public mandate change New Zealands name.
I request under the Official Information Act what the total funding is that TVNZ is claiming for speaking Maori on air from the New Zealand Government. And under what appropriation is this funding coming from.
Yours faithfully,
Liz Simons

Television New Zealand Limited
Dear Ms Simons
TVNZ neither claims nor receives any funding specifically for speaking Māori on air.
However there are some programmes which attract funding from Te Māngai Pāho, and as a result require a certain level of Te Reo. These include programmes such as Te Karere, Marae and Waka Huia, all of which have been on our screens for over 30 years.
Te Māngai Pāho can advise you of the parameters for that funding.
Regards
