Total number of asymptomatic COVID cases in children in New Zealand

Dear Ministry of Health,
I would like to request the number of children, who have been recorded as COVID cases, that were asymptomatic and if they were not asymptomatic how many had previous underlying health conditions in New Zealand.
I would also like to know how many of the COVID cases in New Zealand since August the 1st 2021, have been asymptomatic.

September 2021 for:
"I would like to request the number of children, who have been recorded as
COVID cases, that were asymptomatic and if they were not asymptomatic how
many had previous underlying health conditions in New Zealand.
I would also like to know how many of the COVID cases in New Zealand since
August the 1st 2021, have been asymptomatic.”

As required under the Official Information Act 1982, the Ministry will
endeavour to respond to your request no later than 15 October 2021, being
20 working days after the day your request was received.
Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic response, the Ministry is experiencing

notify you of an extension of that time frame.
