Dear Television New Zealand Limited,

Uttar Pradesh in India has a population of 205 million - but are only getting 20-40 Covid 19 cases per day. This is the same number of cases as New Zealand with a population of 5 million is currently getting with a level 3 lockdown.

Israel with a highly vaccinated population of 9 million are currently getting 2000-4000 cases per day.

Please forward the following information:

1. Has TVNZ News made 'any' attempt to contact the Uttar Pradesh Health Department to see what strategy they are using to achieve such success? Yes or No?

2. All written communication between TVNZ News and the Uttar Pradesh Health Department or Director of Health since March 2020.

I note Uttar Pradesh has been using Ivermectin, Doxycycline and Zinc (links below).

I note Uttar Pradesh seems to be testing at a reasonable rate (link below).

Hi Brent,

Thank you for for confirming that not a single journalist or member of the news team at TVNZ has made 'any' attempt to contact health officials in Uttar Pradesh to investigate why a population of 205 million currently only has 10-20 Covid 19 cases per day.

This highlights the insulated nature of the news we are receiving in New Zealand and the exceptionally low journalism standards we are being subjected to. Unfortunately our negligent journalists are funded largely by New Zealand taxpayers via NZ On Air, or the huge advertising spending by Government Agencies such as the Police and the Ministry of Health (ironic).
