Dear Waikato Regional Council, On 3 August 2021 Department of Conservation
advertised intention to undertake a wholesale aerial broadcast of the VTA
toxin 1080 over the forests of Moehau, Coromandel Peninsula ahead of the
nesting season. Please provide a copy of the Operation Plan submitted to
Waikato Regional Council.
The Operation Plan requested is not held by Waikato Regional Council.
We have transferred your request to the Department of Conservation as the
information to which your request relates is believed to be more closely
connected with the functions of the Department of Conservation.
In these circumstances, we are required by section 12 of the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act to transfer your request.
You will hear further from the Department of Conservation concerning your
request.
