I acknowledge that our final response is taking longer to get to you than
anticipated and apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.
We are expecting to get it to you mid-January once our offices have opened
back up.
In the meantime, it may be of interest for you to know that the Department
has begun publishing citizenship processing timeframes including the
current month being processed on its website. You can find this
information via the following link;

This information is updated weekly should you wish to check current
processing timeframes in the future.
In addition, the Department has and continues to proactively release OIA
responses relating to citizenship processing timeframes. These include a
number of responses with statistics and information about applications
