Act) to the Ministry of Health (the Ministry) on 26 January 2022 for
information about hospital admissions.  

 

You specially requested:  

 

Please provide the monthly data for the last 10 years(up until the most
recent monthly data you have) detailing the number of emergency call outs
the ambulance services have responded to.  

  

The information from July 2020 to June 2021 is publicly available on the
Ministry's website here:

Please note, the Ministry has not been collecting this data for the 10
year period.  

 

For further information you may wish to contact Wellington Free Ambulance
and/or St John, as these providers operate the relevant call centres. A
full list of providers is available at:

Please note that these services are either operated by private companies
or charities and are therefore not bound by the Act.

This part of your request is refused under section 18(e) of the Act, as
the information requested does not exist. The Ministry does not record how
a person arrives at ED.
