It seems unbelievable that this case could have been deemed to have met the Solicitor General's guidelines for prosecution and there is a lot of public interest in the matter - I note the article ends with the words "The Crown Law Office didn't return phone calls."
Also, how much did this prosecution cost the taxpayer?
