1) A copy of the ‘Road Safety Audit’ completed for the new Roundabout deployment
2) A Link to published designs AND OR if not published, a design document in the standard PDF format, most likely similar to this published design i.e "https://www.tauranga.govt.nz/Portals/0/d...
Please also advise the following
1) Please confirm Tauranga City Council (the controlling road authority) authorised approval of the section of Maunganui Rd (Golf road to Hull Rd) in which the roundabout is being installed as an HPMV route / currently (I.e. is Tauranga City Council providing Transport Company / large trucks special permits to use High productivity motor vehicles (HPMV).
YES or NO?
2) Did the Tauranga City council take into consideration on road safety requirements for venerable road users, i.e. on-road cyclists, with a high traffic volume of HPMVs using this route.
YES or NO?
3) Did the Road Safety audit scope of work include the safety consideration requirements for venerable road users, i.e. on-road cyclists sharing the road with Tauranga City permitted HPMVs / high traffic volume of HPMVs using this route
YES or NO?
4) Please also advise if NZTA funding was provided for the roundabout construction
YES or NO?
