Cooking The Books
Chuck Schooner (Account suspended) made this Official Information request to Grant Robertson
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Chuck Schooner (Account suspended) to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Chuck Schooner (Account suspended)
Dear Grant Robertson,
The only people that can spend beyond their means are our incompetent government. The "Covid" response equated to $25,000 per person! Unbelievable. I also note you are now cooking the books - this is what happens when you have an arts degree and try pretend to know anything about finance! Our country is going to be forever stuffed because of your incompetence. On that can you please provide
- Total spend on Covid-19 itemised line by line
- Information to include - allocation to government agency
- I then want each government agency to show all of the amounts paid out to external agencies and the names of the agencies and what the cost was for - vaccines, PPE, consultancy services
- All of these amounts are to then show if a procurement process was gone through
You are likely going to need to do this for the auditor general so it shouldn't be an issue.
Can you also please provide
- Any legal advice, internal and external memos, treasury / RBNZ input, IMF correspondence, cost/benefit analysis, emails, reasons and recommendations as to why the government has changed the way the debt is presented. Effectively I want to see the process that was gone through by the government to change the way they present their debt.
Yours faithfully,
Chuck
