Subject: Official Information request - RE: Training of Ukranian
artillerymen

 

Hi,

 

I understand that our government has determined that NZDF personnel will
participate in training Ukrainian artillerymen, best known for targeting
kindergartens, schools, and maternity hospitals in the Donetsk People's
Republic, in the use of donated artillery.

 

I am requesting:

* Documents regarding which units of the Ukranian armed forces- Azov,
Tornado, Kraken, etc, the NZDF will be training in the use of artillery to
fire upon military or civilian targets.

* Documents regarding what training is being provided to said units- this
should include any trainings in non-directly 'martial' subjects such as
the observance of the laws of war, human rights, etc.
