This request is in regard to statistical data on student performance for the following University of Auckland papers.
Could the following statistics please be provided under the Official Information Act:
(1) Final grade distribution (broken down grade by grade, e.g., A+, A, etc.).
(2) The mean numerical mark.
(3) The median numerical mark.
(4) The number of students who completed the following courses:

Dear Mr Reed,
I refer to your request of 7 July 2022.
Unfortunately, consultations necessary to make a decision on the request
are such that a response to the request cannot reasonably be given within
the original time limit. Accordingly, the University has extended the time
limit for your request until 11 August 2022 under section 15A(1)(b) of the
OIA. This is the new maximum time limit for the University’s response; we
will respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable.
You have the right to make a complaint an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this extension.

I refer to your request of 7 July 2022. The information requested is
attached, with the exception of the mark and grade data requested for S1
2022 MEDSCI 321. Due to the low number of students enrolled in that
course, their mark and grade data has been withheld under section 9(2)(a)
to protect their privacy.
You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.
