I refer to your email dated 20 July 2022 to Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi),
requesting the fol owing under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):
“I note that you provided a copy of the org chart for Auckland Light Rail on 15 August 2021.
Are you able to provide a copy with the addition of staff names please?”
On 20 July 2022, Waka Kotahi transferred your request to Te Manatū Waka Ministry of Transport
(the Ministry) for response.
As of 1 July 2022, the Ministry assumed responsibility for responding to requests for official
information related to Auckland Light Rail.
We note your reference to a previously provided version of the organisation chart and believe you
are referring to a previous Of icial Information Act response from Waka Kotahi published on the
fyi.org.nz website dated 5 August 2021.
The Ministry has made the decision to provide you with the latest version of the organisation chart,
as at August 2022, in accordance with section 15(1)(b) of the Act. However, we do not routinely
release personal details on public websites, such as
fyi.org.nz
In this instance, as the response to your request contains information identifying individuals, we are
prepared to send the information directly to your private email address.

Once we receive your email address, we wil provide you with a copy of the organisation chart.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of this response by the Ombudsman, in
accordance with section 28(3) of the Act. The relevant details can be found on the Ombudsman’s
