Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request dated 29 July 2022, in 
which you requested the fol owing chapters of the Police manual as at that date, each in 
an individual document: 
 
-  Armed Response Team Manual (if one existed) 
-  Al  Electronic Interception (x6) 
-  Night vision equipment Manual 
-  Crime prevention cameras CCTV in public 
-  Drugs. Part 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

-  Identification of offenders 
-  Identity information sharing 
-  Non-Police firearms security management 
-  Telecommunication investigations 
-  Trespass 
-  Vehicle crime 
-  Theft 
-  Fingerprints and SOCO laboratory and crime scene safety

Police has decided to grant your request. However, given the amount of resource 
required to process your request, Police has decided to charge for making the requested 
information available, pursuant to section 15(1A) of the OIA. 
Police estimates that the maximum charge wil  be $3,154. Any unused component of the 
maximum charge wil  be refunded to you. For details of how this charge has been 
calculated, refer to the enclosed estimate of costs. 
Before Police proceeds further with your request, please confirm your agreement to the 
charge. A 50 percent deposit is payable as a surety. I note Police requires a personal 
contact address in order to invoice you. You can provide this information to 
[New Zealand Police request email]. 
Upon receipt of your payment, Police wil  send you the information as soon as reasonably 
practical, along with an invoice for the remainder of the charge.  
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this 
decision. Information about how to seek a review is available
