Dates COVID-19: Case demographics on Health.gov.nz cover
Athina Andonatou made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
The request was successful.
From: Athina Andonatou
Dear Ministry of Health,
A recent request https://fyi.org.nz/request/20112-covid-1... asked for the vaccination status of Covid 19 cases. You provided them with a link "COVID-19: Case demographics | Ministry of Health NZ". Great
My question is:
Are the statistics from the first confirmed covid case in New Zealand on 28th Feb 2020
Or
If they are to be a more accurate measure, from the start of the vaccine rollout 19th Feb 2021?
Yours faithfully,
Athina Andonatou

Thank you. Given that the vaccine was first given 19th February 2021 and the data starts from 20th February 2020, it seems very confusing that the unvaccinated deaths and cases/hospitalizations and ICU data pre vaccine are not separated out.
