I request the following information in regards to landcare research involvement with toitu envirocare.

1.As a shareholder has landcare research ever revieved a dividened paid out from toitu envirocare?

2. Does toitu envirocare get access to and/or use any information or research data from landcare research or any other government department that is not normally available to any other private business/entities?

3. If yes to question 2 please provide details on what sort of data has been given to or requested by toitu envirocare and was any sum of money or compensation paid for access to such data.

4. Does landcare research or any other government department make financial contributions to toitu envirocare that is not for consultation or contracted work? If so please provide details of payment amounts and what it the money was used for.

5. What is the benefit for new zealand taxpayers for landcare research to own and operate toitu envirocare?.

6. Can OIA requests be made to toitu envirocare? And was toitu envirocare setup to be beyond the reach of OIA?

7. Why did landcare research need to establish a business like toitu enviro care and what is its purpose?

8. Does landcare research have any other shareholdings or financial interests in any other business entities?

9. Are there any known conflicts of interest big or small between staff/board members/ directors of toitu envirocare and landcare research or any other government department that engages with toitu envirocare? If so please supply details.
